Maybe there was a traumatic experience in elementary school involving kangaroos and your bike? Kangaroos live in grassy areas so I’m assuming maybe you either learned or just heard of that somewhere and stored it in your subconscious along with school. Or maybe that’s something that stuck out to you on the day of whatever traumatic experience?

My first theory

I am by no means a professional. This is just a hobby and career helper for me right now. I really enjoy analyzing dreams and the human behaviour. Feel free to email or dm your dreams to me. I will keep everything anonymous if you would like. My email is thebotanicalcastle@gmail.com . I’ve done a bunch of these over the past few days and I have learned A LOT. So, here goes...

My Second (Far Fetched) Theory:

Did you have a bad experience in elementary school?

Grass symbolizes harmony and balance.

Grass can also symbolize fertility. Fertility in the womb or in business/life.

Maybe you being in a grass-free circle could mean you don’t have any of that. Maybe

you should work on gaining some balance or harmony in your life. Try to get some

“me-time” and get your thoughts together.

Houses can symbolize your inner self. It’s your personal identity.

Bikes also mean balance. The fact that you feel the urge to get to your bike to go home

may mean you need balance to get back to your true self.

Now, the reason you feel like you shouldn’t feel it was a good decision to go into the

grass could mean you might feel bad about gaining balance and harmony in your life.

For example, maybe finding balance could mean you would have to cut down your hours

at work meaning you can’t bring as much money in as you’d like to for your household. You may think your family would be disappointed or maybe even suffer but that’s something you’ll have to figure ou for your own well-being.

Kangaroos can mean paternal or maternal instinct which also add into my last point. You feel like finding balance will somehow make your children suffer.

Alternatively, if you don’t have children, a kangaroo could symbolize indecisiveness or anger.

Indecisiveness could be about harmony and balance, too. Maybe you are having trouble figuring out what needs to go and what needs to stay

The Analysis

My analysis of this dream is that you clearly need some type of balance somewhere. Whether it’s working too many jobs, not enough space from your kids or husband, etc, or anything causing you stress, you need space. For your own sanity, I would suggest you sitting down and thinking about what’s causing you so much anxiety in your life. “Something’s got to give.” No. MAKE “something give.”

My Take Aways

The Kangaroo Dream

“I was standing outside my elementary school, which was now surrounded by tall grass. I was

basically in the middle of a grass-free circle, and all around me was grass up to my waist. My bike was leaning up against the wall and I needed to go and get it so that I could get home, but I knew I absolutely should not go into the tall grass, or the kangaroos would get me.

Eventually I did venture forward and try to grab the bike, I saw something move in the grass and the fear woke me up. Now, here's the strange part: I was still completely terrified of kangaroos. I wanted to do one of those 'shaking off a bad dream' activities- get a drink of water, read a book, turn on a freaking light- but I was too afraid to move because the kangaroos would get me. I lay there, awake and scared out of my mind, for almost an hour, just watching my clock and waiting to be safe. It really fucked with me that the dream persisted for as long as it did.

I have no f***ing problem with kangaroos.”
